Hangar 4 MMA is Melbourneu2019s oldest mixed martial arts (MMA) gym, and has been teaching students from the northern suburbs of Melbourne since 1999, the Hangar has hosted some of the best martial artists in the world, including Carlos and Rigan Machado and Paul Slowinski, plus UFC fighters Antu00f4nio Rodrigo Nogueira (Big Nog) and Brian Ebersole.
We specialise in Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing), Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and boxing, and offer personal training in all styles. We also offer kidsu2019 classes that focus on technique, improving coordination, and building discipline, self-confidence and self-defence skillsu2026 all whilst having some serious fun! The effectiveness and enthusiasm in Jenu2019s approach has meant that I have already recommended Jen as a personal trainer to many of my friends and will continue to do so.
I enjoyed my personal training sessions with Elbert - she motivated me to do more. When I first started the sessions I had backache from sitting down all day. The exercises she gave me to do, improved my back muscles and now it does not ache. Thank you for getting me active again.
